Fleece Mens Pyjamas

Although I regularly sing the praises of natural materials when it comes to clothes, and the vast bulk of my own wardrobe is in natural materials, I acknowledge that there has been great progress in syntethic materials in recent years. One of the most successful contributions to the gentleman’s wardrobe has been the now ubiquitous “fleece”. Anyone who participates in outdoor sports will have a few to hand, they are warm, comfy and practical. And now they’re available as pyjamas. They are even available as footed pyjamas.

Let’s be honest here, fleece footed pyjamas are baby sleeps suits scaled up for grownups. And unless you are very cool that is exactly what you are going to look like; a grown up wearing kid’s pyjamas. I have known one girl who looked fabulous in them but then she was a model and could look stunning in the proverbial paper bag. Nonetheless, if you are attracted by the idea of them, then go ahead and wear them. But these really are for the privacy of your own home – I certainly wouldn’t answer the door in a pair of fleecy footed pyjamas.

There are some obvious advantages to fleece pyjamas for men and these are reasons to consider wearing them. The first is that they are very warm. You will not have to worry about the winter chills at all while wearing fleece pyjamas. The second is they are easy to maintain and long lasting. They wash easily – stains come out even at low temperatures – and they are easy to dry. The third is that they can be very comfortable. Personally I prefer the feel of more natural pyjamas but I accept that some of the modern fleece materials are as soft and comfy as they come.

So, for the ultimate in winter warmth, the cold blooded man should consider fleece pyjamas as part of his armoury. Just be careful what colour and pattern you choose of you may end up looking like an overgrown little boy.
